Zetria

Overview

Zetria is an adult-only 2D pixel art platformer that mixes precise jumping, run and gun action and light puzzle solving. You play as Solana, a salvage and rescue operator equipped with an NX-37 Combat Harness and a trusty sidearm.

Every environment, enemy and animation is hand-crafted pixel art, from the icy surface of the planet to the alien creatures that live under it. The retro look pairs with a dark sense of humor and plenty of mature animated scenes along the way.

The game comes from Karnedraws, the artist behind PixelBee Games, the same small studio that later released Tamer Vale. It is a short, polished adventure that is easy to pick up and hard to put down.

Story

While scanning the debris fields of the long abandoned Zetrian system, Solana picks up a distress signal coming from a research facility on a frigid exoplanet. She descends to investigate and discovers that the workers have gone missing. Now she has to fight, jump and think her way through the facility and the caves below to bring them home.
