Innocent Assault SS

Overview

Airi wants to be a demon hunter, which in this world means going into the Demon Void and coming back out. Innocent Assault SS is a 3D action adventure built around that, and it has considerably more game in it than the genre usually bothers with.

Combat runs on two modes you swap between: sword for close range, firearms for distance, with skills you combine on top. Neither one carries a whole fight on its own, so the rhythm is about reading what is in front of you and switching. Terrain matters too, which is unusual enough to mention.

The content list is the selling point: 8 main story stages plus 5 optional challenge stages across 35 maps, 32 enemy types, and traps scattered through all of it. Progression unlocks new abilities and weapons, and outfit pieces drop as you go so you can rebuild how Airi looks. It released in August 2026 with Japanese voice work and text in five languages, and it runs on a GTX 650 Ti.

Story

Airi is optimistic in a way the job does not reward. The Demon Void is where demon hunters are made, and the ones who come back out are the ones who learned when to stop swinging and start shooting.
