Overview

The Forgotten Island is ambitious and it knows it. You are shipwrecked on a mysterious island and quickly realize this is not a simple dating sim. The core loop is RPG first: combat, party management, crafting, economy and exploration all working together.

Your first hours go into recruiting companions who are not just romantic interests but actual party members with combat roles. Each one brings skills that matter in battle, and synergy becomes important fast. Combat is turn-based but never passive, you are always thinking about positioning, abilities and composition. As relationships deepen you unlock new scenes, but also new combat advantages and story branches.

Outside combat there is a full simulation layer: resources, home upgrades, farming, side quests and 2D maps full of puzzles and lore. Updates are massive and the dev is transparent about them. Bugs exist because it is early access, but the scope is genuinely impressive.

Story

The ship went down and the island was not on any chart. The people already living there have their own rules, their own fights and their own reasons to decide whether you are worth keeping around.
