Overview

SwordsGirl Harumi is exactly the size it wants to be. Harumi is a warrior in a quiet town who likes her sword and likes keeping the peace, and one night the village gets hit by something she has never seen before.

What follows is a compact action RPG: several areas with their own environments and puzzles, quests to pick up, bosses to get through, and weapons and attack items with special properties to find along the way. The retro presentation keeps everything readable and the pacing does not waste your time between fights.

The investigation turns into a hunt for the demon giving the monsters orders, and from there into a last fight to get the town back. It is Windows only, in English, and released in December 2023. The free demo is a 57 MB download; the full game is $2.99 on itch and also sells on Steam.

Story

Harumi liked her town quiet. The creature that came through it one night did not, and following the trail back took her a lot further from home than she expected.
