Seeds of Chaos

Overview

Seeds of Chaos is not a thirty minute game. It is the RPG and visual novel hybrid where you sit down for a little progress and look up hours later, three steps deep into a plan. You play Rowan, a retired war hero whose calm life gets yanked out from under him when he is dragged into servitude under demon-blooded twins.

The game is built on long-term decision weight. A lot of games pretend choices matter and then funnel you back onto the same rail. This one gives you branches that genuinely reshape the campaign: a small compromise early can open a completely different political and mechanical direction later. The management layer is where the planning lives, with resources, research, upgrades and facilities that decide which options even exist for you down the line.

Pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, but slow with intent, because it wants you to feel the grind of holding power. Combat and RPG systems show up as pressure points rather than the main attraction, and relationships respond to what you do and what you sacrifice rather than to picking the right dialogue option. Keep multiple save slots, because choices close doors and there is no clean undo.

Story

Rowan fought his war and earned his quiet. The demon-blooded twins who own him now have their own plans for that reputation, and everything he builds from here is built on someone else's terms.
