Overview

SCP: Nexus delivers horror through systems and pressure instead of jump scares. You play a Foundation agent caught in a global conspiracy involving powerful anomalies and a looming world-ending scenario, and the tone leans hard into paranoia and distrust.

Combat is turn-based tactical RPG, and it is intentionally unforgiving. Enemies manipulate turn order, drain resources, heal excessively and punish mistakes. Ammo matters, healing items matter, positioning matters, and sometimes RNG still works against you even when you do everything right.

That has made the game controversial. Some players call the difficulty unfair, others argue it forces careful preparation. Either way, the horror comes from knowing the system itself might screw you, which honestly fits the SCP universe perfectly. The art gets praised, and when the game clicks it creates real anxiety through mechanics alone.

Story

You are an agent inside a Foundation that is no longer sure who it can trust. The anomalies are moving, the paperwork is lying, and the end of the world is on the schedule like any other containment task.
