Nurtale Nesche

Overview

Nurtale Nesche is a dark fantasy dungeon escape that blends stealth, tension and action-survival decisions, and it is honestly scarier than it looks at first glance. You play as Nesche, trapped in a demon-infested dungeon, and the loop is brutal but compelling: try to escape, get hunted, get caught, try again, learning the layout and the enemy patterns each time.

The stealth system matters because enemies react to sound. Footsteps, movement, noise management. You have to think like someone actually trying not to be heard, and the AI feels genuinely threatening.

A major layer is the restraint and cursed item system. Different restraints directly affect what you can do, from limiting running to taking away navigation tools, so every escape attempt plays differently. There is roguelike-ish preparation too: looting boxes, dealing with resource RNG and adapting when the run does not give you what you wanted. It is early access, so bugs happen, but the core identity is already strong.

Story

Nesche wakes up in a dungeon that was built to keep things in, not out. The monsters there hunt by sound, and every failed escape teaches her a little more about how the place breathes.
