Overview

Lewd City Girls is what happens when someone looks at a classic beat 'em up and says, yeah, but let's make it way more unhinged. You play as Kyoko, on a very important mission to find her missing boyfriend Riki.

The core gameplay is classic side-scrolling brawler stuff: punching, kicking, chaining combos and knocking enemies around the screen. Simple, satisfying and easy to pick up. As you fight you build up an SP meter, and when it is full Kyoko can trigger special interactions, all presented through pixel animations. There is also a risk and reward layer: upgrading Kyoko makes her stronger, but taking hits can knock her back down a level.

What we like here is that the game lets you choose your own pace. You can rush through stages like a normal brawler, or slow down and explore the side encounters if you are curious. It is goofy, self-aware and clearly made by people who understand both beat 'em ups and adult parody.

Story

Kyoko's boyfriend Riki has gone missing somewhere in the city, and she is not the type to wait around for answers. She goes through every street, every school hallway and every enemy standing between her and him, one combo at a time.
