Overview
Factorial Omega sounds like a meme on paper, until you play it and realize it is built like a full lifestyle sim with teeth. You are an Anon at rock bottom in a rough mega-city, and the game wastes no time making you feel it: rent, hunger and mental stability are always one bad week from spiraling. Then a military truck nearly crashes outside, and in the chaos you find Jun, an advanced incomplete robot who becomes both your lifeline and your problem.
What makes it special is how it forces you to juggle survival and attachment at the same time. Hunger and sanity bars are brutal in a way that feels thematic: cheap dispenser bread keeps you alive but wrecks your head, so you start weighing survival against misery, with walks and time with Jun as the ways back up. The economy goes further, with a stock market simulation that people genuinely use to fund upgrades, plus streaming Jun for money with a dynamic comment system, a rhythm mini-game at the labor office, fishing and gambling.
The customization is enormous. Jun is not outfit A or B, you swap parts, upgrade limbs, adjust personality modules and change how she behaves. On top of that there is a small interaction layer, holding her hand or rubbing her cheek, that makes the mood weirdly intimate. Add a pile of endings, some funny and some bleak, and it becomes a game you replay just to see how different your life turns out.
Story
