Anomaly Evolution

Overview

Anomaly Evolution is horror that works gradually, and that is what makes it unsettling. At first glance it looks like a simple idle clicker: you click, generate cells and buy upgrades.

But what you are evolving are SCP-style anomalies, and the further you go the more disturbing those evolutions become. Early forms feel almost harmless. Later stages do not. You are not just upgrading stats, you are watching something turn into a godlike, unnatural entity.

The game adds pressure through hostile Xenocytes that actively fight your progress, and if you skip combat upgrades they can stall you completely. There is also a prestige system where you reset progress for long-term gains, so you are always choosing between growing now and being stronger later. From a horror standpoint it works, because it is about losing control while pretending you are in charge.

Story

The Foundation classifies anomalies to keep them contained. This project does the opposite: it feeds them, upgrades them and watches what they become when nothing tells them to stop.
